Benwell Neighbourhood Management Initiative along with the help of local residents and agencies held Environ- Tipping- Mental week, which started Tuesday 27th May. 

Since April 2004 the Pathfinder Team has been policing Benwell. The team is led by Sergeant Barrie Joisce.

Over £65,000 has been raised to install the equipment in Farndale Park.  This has been raised thanks to kind donations from various organisations, including:

Over the last four years we have been working hard to get empty homes back into use and improve the environment around the houses.
